I am a friendly and empathic qualified counsellor and at the moment additionally to my private practice I work within the NHS offering counselling and cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT). I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their ethical framework. This means that your well being is my prime concern whilst we are engaging in a therapeutic relationship. I will to the best of my ability offer you an environment where you feel safe, acknowledged and understood.
I am currently studying for a Post Graduate certificate in Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and as such I am looking for clients who would like to experience this therapy at a reduced rate, as I am in training. I would be particularly interested in working with you if you are experiencing stress and anxiety and now have a desire to tackle this so that you can make positive changes in your life.
Types of anxiety may include chronic worry, fear of anxiety and panic attacks, obsessive compulsive disorder(OCD), social anxiety, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and phobias. If you feel you do not fit into any of these catergories and would still like some help with anxiety please call for a chat to see if CBT would be helpful for you.
As well as anxiety and stress I am also seeking to work with clients who feel they may benefit from trying Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for addictive behaviours. The area that I am particularly interested in working with is those who feel they have a issues with compulsive or over eating.
If you feel you would like to know more about how CBT and counselling could be helpful for you, please give me a call on 07840 283 180.
